Each campus holds different types of dance classes. Please refer to the sub-tabs for schedules for different campuses.
All materials learned and/or displayed at Yaya Dance Academy are considered intellectual property of Yaya Dance Academy. Any performance or display of these material in any form without expressed written consent of Yaya Dance Academy is strictly prohibited and may be pursued in the court of law.
Tuition is collected at the beginning of every semester, for the entire semester. The dance year will include three regular semesters and one summer semester. Annual instruction will be 12 months or 48 weeks with 4 weeks of vacation time. Tuition is charged per student, with a multi-class discount available. There will be no discount given for multiple students from the same family. A single class rate will be charged to anyone that will not be paying for the full two months of tuition.
Monthly tuition is due on or before the 10th of each collection month, or before class for single class instruction. A late charge of $35 will be added for any tuition received after this date. Cash and Checks made to Yaya Dance Academy are accepted. Bounced checks will be charged a $40 bank fee per check. You may also pay through Venmo to @Yaya-Zhang-1.
A student may not attend class if tuition is not paid. There are no refunds or credits of tuition.
Missed class can be made up by taking another class only if a notification is given at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the class. Classes must be made up within one month of the class that was missed.
Private or small group (4 or less) instruction is subject to additional charges of classroom and tuition fees. This policy also applies when a regular class has only 4 or less students present.
Students must sign-in before each class. Arrive on time. If you arrive late and instruction has already begun, you may join the class quietly without disturbing others. Be respectful to your teachers and classmates. No talking in class and remember to thank your teacher at the end of class.
Students will be released from classes 5 minutes prior to scheduled end time so they have time to get to their next class. Parents and guardians are expected to pick up their children on time. Yaya Dance Academy is not responsible for a student’s safety outside of the scheduled class time.
No food, drinks, or chewing gum in the dance studio except for sealable water bottles.
Dancers must be dressed in appropriate dance attire: ○ Kids Ballet, Jazz, or Chinese dance- solid colored leotards, pink tights and pink ballet shoes required. Buns required for long hair. ○ Tap- Tight fitting dance attire only. Tight fitting t-shirts may be worn at the discretion of the teacher. Tap shoes required. No street clothes.
No phone calls during class. Turn all cell phones to silent before class begins.
Class schedule is subject to change for any reason without notice, but Yaya Dance Academy shall provide credit or make-up classes in such incidences.
Yaya Dance Academy reserves the right to refuse service to any person for any reason.
